TIER-BASED RATE STRUCTURE

Our Studio MMS is spacious and features a well-balanced control room, a medium-sized tight sounding tracking room, other semi-treated lecture rooms/booths and a live rehearsal / jazz stage area. The tracking room is well suited for recording vocals and instruments including drums. The space can host solo artists, musicians, ensembles and bands (up to 6 people). Our live stage area and rehearsal hall hosts medium-sized events up to 50+ people.

Studio MMS is equipped with class-A gear, and can track up to 16 channels simultaneously through a low-noise high-end signal chain, and contains a wide range of instruments such as guitars, grand piano, upright piano, electronic drums, and digital keyboards, stage pianos, controllers and synths.

The environment is well-treated, operated by highly experienced engineers and we're happy to offer musical direction and vocal/instrumental guidance during your session.

At Studio MMS we record mainly:

The studio offers an environment similar to that of other medium-sized professional studios, but we pride ourselves with the highest level of professionalism, efficiency, flexibility and customization options. We charge musician-friendly hourly rates that is based on how advanced your type of session is. Our strengths are musical expertise and direction, technical in-depth knowledge and client care.

CLASS-A GEAR & INDUSTRY EXPERTS

We operate with a three-tier system in terms of offering rates to clients with different requirements and goals:

• #1 Studio Rehearsal: ($29/hr)

  • At Studio MMS only in north Richmond, BC

  • Rehearse with your band (up to 6 people) using the classic configuration with a basic PA, instrument amps, microphones, stands etc. hosted by an assistant engineer

  • You can opt for adding a stem recording where the entire band is monitored via headphone mixes

  • Instruments are available for rental ($2/hr)

• #2 Artist Recording: (from $38-55/hr)

  • At Studio PTL (South Vancouver, BC) & MMS (north Richmond, BC). 12 min drive between locations

  • Record vocals, instruments, smaller duos and ensembles

  • All portable instruments, microphones and equipment from any location is available for use and included in rate

• #3 Band Recording: ($55/hr)

  • We record your band (up to 6 people) and can mic up your acoustic drumkit including all your instruments and vocals. We offer to track 16 channels simultaneously

  • All portable instruments, microphones and equipment from any location is available for use and included in rate
